Look at these fabulous letters written in 1971 to the children of Troy, Michigan, congratulating them on the opening of their new children’s library. The 97 letters are from such notables as Isaac Asimov, Dr. Suess, E.B. White and Neil Armstrong.

Our beautiful library, the subject of praise by these great people, is at risk of closing just 40 years later.
